- Soares Jr.: "At the end of the day, it's a loss. There's no moral victories over here. We got six more games, six more opportunities. That's the way I see it."
- Soares Jr.: "We don't want to play with people who put their head down when they're losing."
- Coenen: "You have to prepare like a starter. We had a lot of guys go down, you have to prepare like a starter." on his message to the younger players.
- Soares Jr.: "They came out and they punched us. We just got to be able to respond."
- Coenen: "I trust our head coach. That's all I can say."
- Soares Jr.: "I got coach's back ten-fold."
- Soares Jr.: "I've known coach Fitz for a very long time, the fire you saw? (After the onside kick) That is why I'm back here with him."
