Vikings inactives vs. Saints: Beckham's debut will wait, O'Neill good to go
· Yahoo Sports
Vikings superstar wide receiver Justin Jefferson is officially active and will make his return on Sunday in his home state of Louisiana against the New Orleans Saints. Jefferson exited the Vikings’ Week 3 game on the opening drive with a sprained ankle and sat out last week’s win over the Dolphins.
However, the Vikings will not have No. 2 wide receiver Jordan Addison (hamstring). Also inactive is newcomer Odell Beckham Jr., who was elevated from the practice squad on Saturday but will not play in this game. Jeshaun Jones, who was also elevated, is active and will join Jefferson, Jauan Jennings, Tai Felton, and Myles Price in Minnesota’s wide receiver room.

Beckham, who just signed with Minnesota this week, could have a chance to factor into the team’s plans at wide receiver after the bye week, once he’s had a bit more time to get up to speed with the playbook.
Vikings right tackle Brian O’Neill, who came in questionable with a knee injury, is active and will play. We already knew the Vikings would be without left tackle Christian Darrisaw and left guard Donovan Jackson, meaning Ryan Van Demark and Joe Huber start on the left side of the offensive line against New Orleans.
Here’s the Vikings’ full list of inactives:
- WR Jordan Addison
- WR Odell Beckham Jr.
- S Jakobe Thomas
- CB Charles Demmings
- DL Elijah Williams
- LT Christian Darrisaw
- QB Max Brosmer (emergency No. 3 QB)
Kickoff from the Superdome is at noon.
