Sarah Strong tipped as No. 1 WNBA draft pick
Syracuse head coach Felisha Legette-Jack was blown away after getting a firsthand look at Sarah Strong.
She basically told everyone what the scouting reports already knew, calling Strong an absolute lock for the No. 1 overall pick in the WNBA draft whenever she decides to make that jump.
“She is, to me, a No. 1 draft pick whenever she decides to go to the league.”
And that’s not all, as she also claimed that Strong could take on her Syracuse side with four middle school teammates and still win.
“It could be four kids from middle school and Sarah Strong, and they got a chance to win.”
Sarah Strong spent her freshman run taking over games, putting up 18.4 points, nearly eight boards, and close to four assists per night. Shooting over 58% from the floor while racking up over three steals a game, she basically made stepping onto a college court look like second nature.
