Former Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib had some choice words for Ryan Fitzpatrick after he said Bo Nix is disrespectful to the quarterback position with his play against the Seattle Seahawks this week. Talib absolutely eviscerated Fitzpatrick’s comments and I am here for it.

Zack Kelberman posted the full transcript of this clip on X and it is a line-by-line takedown of TNF’s talking head:

“You are disrespectful to the quarterback position ’cause you suck. Period. … We’re talking about a guy [Fitzpatrick] who played for nine different teams in 17 years. ’Cause ain’t nobody want his ass. We’re talking about a guy who only played for a team for more than two years once. That’s Buffalo. And his record as a starter in Buffalo was 19-35. That’s f*cking suck.

“A guy who played 17 years, 147 starts, and never sniffed a playoff game. He never touched the playoffs ever. That’s disrespectful to the quarterback position.

“You suck. You suck, bro.

“We’re talking about a guy who got 169 interceptions, more interceptions than he has starts. How can a quarterback of his caliber talk about what is disrespectful to the quarterback position? Nobody’s worried about what Fitzpatrick said. Nobody was worried about playing against you. You suck.”

Talib is probably the best former-player covering the Broncos in 2026. He gives it straight, but he also defends the team without feeding into the fan overreactions. And hey, I’m certainly one to overreact during and immediately after games. So I appreciate the straight-talk Talib dishes for fans sometimes too.

At the end of the day, the Broncos are 4-2 and right where they hoped to be after those first six brutal games on their schedule. Sean Payton and Bo Nix will figure this out and the team is winning while they are.
