Updated US LBM Coaches Poll after chaotic Week 7 in SEC play

Texas A&M achieved its primary goal by leaving Kyle Field with a double-digit win over its final non-conference FCS opponent, shutting out The Citadel 41-0, before heading back to SEC play to face Alabama on the road in Week 8. The Aggies are currently 15.5-point underdogs and will need a major offensive improvement to have any shot at an upset.
Week 7 in the SEC was pure chaos, starting with No. 7 Texas's home loss to Florida and backup quarterback Tramell Jones, followed by unranked Auburn's stunning 27-24 road win over No. 1 Georgia, and Alabama's 26-10 road loss to Tennessee, which was the first time all three blue-blood programs lost on the same day since 1996.

While Texas has underperformed over the last two weeks, especially in last week's loss to Oklahoma, Georgia looked like the conference's best team coming in, while Alabama's two-game losing streak likely reflects opposing defenses figuring out how to confuse first-year starting quarterback Keelon Russell.
After facing Alabama, a bye week sits between South Carolina on the road, Tennessee at home, Oklahoma on the road, and Texas at home to end the regular season. Each game is winnable on paper, but starting quarterback Marcel Reed and Texas A&M's offense as a whole haven't performed well enough to give the fan base any real hope.
With Texas, Georgia, and Alabama all losing, Miami's thrilling overtime win over Florida State put the Hurricanes at No. 1 in the US LBM Coaches Poll.
