The Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score launches on December 11 across all major music streaming services, Rockstar Games has announced. It’s also due out then on double CD and triple vinyl.

The GTA 6: Original Score is by Grammy Award-winning French electronic duo Justice, and features 30 tracks from the band’s full suite of material composed for the game. This includes Flower in a Hurricane ft. Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, and a number of digital bonus tracks included across all formats.

Today, Justice released a new track called Pusher, which features fellow French electronic music artist Gesaffelstein.

Here's the official blurb:

The Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score 2xCD and 3xLP – available in a limited crystal clear edition as well as standard black – features 30 tracks and a number of bonus digital tracks comprising a 3 hour-long suite of material from the game.

Hand-selected for the assignment, Justice (Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay) worked in close collaboration with the team at Rockstar Games to match the thematic beats of the gameplay experience, fine tuning their signature sound to align with the immersive world of Grand Theft Auto VI and the story of Jason and Lucia. As a result, the band’s score is dynamically tuned to game events as they unfold, constantly reacting in response to the different ways players engage with the people and places across Leonida.

“The scope of the game is so large geographically and thematically that it was clear from the beginning the music would also have to be very broad in terms of emotions, genres, and textures” states de Rosnay. “We were given the freedom to explore as many things as we needed to, musically speaking.”

The duo previewed the score via their massive hit “Flower In a Hurricane (ft. Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard),” which marked Justice’s first non-feature song to hit the Billboard Hot 100 at #62 and debuted at #34 on the US Alternative Radio chart. Today they share another taste of the album with “Pusher,” a preview of the instrumental side of the score featuring their first-ever collaboration with fellow French electronic music pioneer Gesaffelstein.

Rockstar had already released previews of select in-game radio stations, along with featured singles from Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, on the Music section of the official GTA 6 website, giving fans a taste of what’s to come.

Speaking of GTA 6’s music, British singer Cliff Richard has enjoyed a surprise resurgence at the age of 86 after one of his old songs featured in the GTA 6 Extended Look on Netflix. Devil Woman, a 1976 single from his album I'm Nearly Famous, saw a bump in popularity after featuring on 2017 movie I, Tonya, but it exploded after appearing in the GTA 6 gameplay, with a 325% increase in daily streams. However, Richard himself doesn’t really understand what’s happening here, and, in a recent interview, didn’t seem to know what GTA was.

We’ve got plenty more on GTA 6 while you wait for its November 19 release date, including an unlikely gameplay reveal in the latest episode of South Park, how GTA 6 named one of its biggest mechanics after a beloved GTA 4 meme, and how GTA 6's map will open up relatively early and let you explore freely.
