He announced his decommitment from one UW and commitment to another after the Badgers loss to Iowa.

Tyson is the 24th player in the Badgers 2027 class. He joins Jai Jones, who is also from Arizona, and Steele Harris, who is from Montana, as receivers in the class.

The commitment added to the Badgers’ recruiting prowess in the Grand Canyon State. After the 10 players from the class who are from Wisconsin, Arizona has the next highest concentration of Badgers recruits with four: Jones, who is from Chandler, defensive end Yahzeen Zion from Goodyear and Nathan Jones from Goodyear.

There are a couple other notable UW recruits from the state: 2028 edge rusher Jalanie George, who attends Desert Edge High School, the same school as Zion and Jones. Receiver Kash Brock, who is from Chandler, is a freshman at UW this season.

Tyson is considered a four-star prospect by 247sports. Rivals lists him as three-star recruit.

He announced 25 scholarship offers with 23 coming from FBS programs. He announced an offer from Wisconsin in April.

He has helped Peoria to a 7-3 record this season. According to MaxPreps, he has caught 45 passes for 687 yards, a 15.7-yard average, with seven touchdowns.
