Spurs center Victor Wembanyama has been named the NBA's Western Conference Player of the Week, marking the fourth time in his career he's received the honor.
Boston's Jayson Tatum won the award in the East.
Wembanyama helped the Spurs to a 3-0 record for the week ending Sunday, averaging 36.0 points, 10.3 rebounds, 4.3 blocks, 3.7 assists and 2.0 steals in 33.1 minutes while shooting 56.3% from the field.

Wembanyama capped the stretch with a 43-point outing in Saturday night's 121-111 victory over Minnesota at the Frost Bank Center.
The 22-year-old French superstar dominated in the paint, so much so that he leads the NBA with 23 made alley-oops this season. His 3.8 per game average is more than twice the average of any other player..
"I think that we're doing a better job running the floor, spacing the floor, and I also think he's just doing a better job of asserting himself in the right positions," Spurs forward Julian Champagnie said at shootaround Monday morning when asked about Wembanyama's dominance down low. "I think the intent behind how he's playing is a little different. He's going to dunk the ball a lot more. So the more and more he does that, the more and more that he does his thing in space, it kind of just opens up. Teams have to either guard the three, guard the dunk."
The Spurs (4-2) will seek their fifth win in a row when they host Utah (1-5) Monday night at the Frost Bank Center.
