Paul George has had a great start to life with the Boston Celtics, but the same can’t be said about every new player in the franchise.

The Celtics signed Mitchell Robinson as a free agent after his championship-winning season with the New York Knicks, and a lot was expected of him.
Unfortunately, Robinson has not done enough yet, and George has had his say on the situation.
Paul George says Mitchell Robinson needs to do more but backs him to come good
Robinson has played in seven of the Boston Celtics’ eight games so far this season, but he has not hit the heights he was expected to.
The 28-year-old has only managed double-digit points in one fixture, and in four of the seven games, he scored under five points. There has also been a drop-off in his rebounds, assists, steals and blocks compared to previous seasons.
That has led to some frustration among the Celtics fan base, and George has admitted that his new teammate has to do a little bit more.
However, the former Philadelphia 76ers star is convinced that Robinson will come good and has offered him complete support.
He told CLNS: “I think it was a different situation for him in New York to here, where we actually need him to do a little bit more and want him to do a little bit more and kind of explore that.
“He’s just going through that. It’s a different play style for him. He’ll get there. For me as well, I’m still learning and still figuring out. But I have no doubt. He’s got a high IQ, he plays hard. I think it’s just an adjustment.
“I’m still trying to figure it out myself. We’re all in this together. The biggest thing about it is that he knows that we’re here for him. We’re all collectively here to help him through this. It’s not a thing that he has to navigate on his own.
“So, just with that, I think he’s starting to explore just what game and who he is here for us.”
Robinson was never really going to be a superstar for the Celtics, but he still hasn’t done enough for them since moving to Boston in the summer.
George only joined in the off-season too, but he has been fantastic. That should serve as motivation for the former Knicks star going forward.
