For the Colts, it was a fairly active few weeks. During free agency, and even in the days leading up to it, we saw nine outside signings made, along with the Colts re-signing several of their own free agents. Long-time contributors Michael Pittman and Zaire Franklin were traded away as well.

However, GM Chris Ballard still has work to do as well. There are three specific items that remain on his offseason to-do list.

As far as the moves made by the Jacksonville Jaguars, Houston Texans, and Tennessee Titans, Josh Edwards of CBS Sports recently listed the key additions and departures for each NFL team. Let's take a look.

Jacksonville Jaguars offseason moves

"Key additions: RB Chris Rodriguez Jr.

"Key re-signings: CB Montaric Brown, EDGE Dennis Gardeck

"Key departures: LB Devin Lloyd, RB Travis Etienne Jr., CB Greg Newsome II, S Andrew Wingard"

Quick thoughts: It was a quiet free agency period for the Jaguars. Overall, they experienced relatively little roster turnover, but are now tasked with replacing the production that is lost with Lloyd and Etienne now elsewhere. Jacksonville has 11 picks in the upcoming NFL draft, including four in the top 100.

Houston Texans offseason moves

"Key additions: RB David Montgomery (via trade), OT Braden Smith, S Reed Blankenship, TE Foster Moreau, DL Logan Hall, G Evan Brown

"Key re-signings: DL Sheldon Rankins, S M.J. Stewart, OT Trent Brown, G Ed Ingram, LB E.J. Speed

"Key departures: OL Tytus Howard (via trade), DL Tim Settle, P Tommy Townsend, LB Christian Harris"

Quick thoughts: A clear priority for the Texans was on reshaping the offensive line unit this offseason. Houston ranked 29th in yards per rush last season. Houston also acquired David Montgomery to help give the run game a boost. The Houston defense was among the best in football last season.

Tennessee Titans offseason moves

"Key additions: DL John Franklin-Myers, WR Wan'Dale Robinson, EDGE Jermaine Johnson II (via trade), G Cordell Volson, CB Alontae Taylor, CB Cordale Flott, TE Daniel Bellinger, DL Jordan Elliott, DL Solomon Thomas (via trade), EDGE Jacob Martin, C Austin Schlottmann, CB Joshua Williams, P Tommy Townsend

"Key re-signings: K Joey Slye

"Key departures: DL T'Vondre Sweat (via trade), EDGE Arden Key, TE Chigoziem Okonkwo"

Quick thoughts: The Titans entered the offseason ranked among the teams with the most salary cap space available, and they put a good portion of that to use, making a number of outside additions. The coaching staff, as well, underwent its share of changes, with Robert Saleh taking over as head coach and Brian Daboll now the offensive coordinator.
