All news pertaining to 7-foot-9 giant Olivier Rioux is big news considering his record-setting stature. Rioux elected to enter the transfer portal after a couple of years with the Florida Gators, and has committed to his next program.

The center will bring his talents to UC Irvine in hopes of helping the Anteaters take a step forward next season.
It's going to be fascinating to see how UC Irvine head coach Russell Turner utilizes Rioux, who only appeared in 11 games for the Gators. Rioux was a redshirt during his first campaign with Florida.
"Oli is excited and ready for the next steps in his journey," said Rioux's agent Peter Yannopoulos after his client entered the transfer portal.

Rioux only played 16 total minutes last season, which makes his endurance in a potentially larger role with the Anteaters a bit of an unknown.
