Newcastle coach implies Anthony Gordon could already be thinking about future
· Yahoo Sports
Transfer sagas rarely just have a straight line from when a player wants to leave a club to when he gets sold.
There is always some kind of drama in-between those things happening and it appears that Bayern Munich’s pursuit of Newcastle United star Anthony Gordon has finally hit that point.
Visit hilogame.news for more information.
Magpies coach Eddie Howe has been leaving Gordon on the bench of late and the manager says it is partly because he might already have one eye on next season.
“When you get to this stage of the season, part of what we will be doing will be looking to next year naturally. Anthony has just come back from injury, I think the team has played well in his absence, and with a partial view to the future, yes,” Howe said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
There are rumors that Gordon wants to leave Newcastle, but he has not publicly stated anything as of yet. Howe’s words are interesting, though, as he been around Gordon since this all started up a few weeks back.
Is the coach reading the tea leaves? Maybe, but there is a long way to go for Bayern Munich in getting a deal done with Newcastle for Gordon.
