RASSIE CLAPS BACK AT CRITICS OF BAFANA BAFANA
Bafana Bafana have faced intense criticism of their performance in the FIFA World Cup from both the public and sports commentators.
Needless to say, much of the criticism has come from individuals whose countries have not qualified for the FIFA World Cup.
One of the critics was Irish sports betting company, Paddy Power, which tweeted this week: “I need to see evidence of South Africa qualifying for this tournament, because I’m wondering how on Earth it happened”.
The tweet saw much backlash from South Africans, including sports supporter Rory Petzer, who clapped back: “This aged as well as an Ireland RWC quarterfinal.
Proteas cricketer Rassie van der Dussen also delivered a low blow, responding: “Which group is Ireland in?”

IRISH FANS SHOW THEIR SUPPORT
Meanwhile, a group of Irish football supporters have gone viral for showing their support to Bafana Bafana at their FIFA World Cup match against Czechia.
A group of four pals wearing SAFA jerseys snapped a pic inside the Atlanta stadium where South Africa drew against Czechia on Thursday.
In the pic, the quartet hold up a sign that reads: “The South Africans: A great bunch of lads”.
According to X user @DaveJon63336865, the friends bought tickets to watch South Africa play Czechia after the latter knocked Ireland out of a World Cup qualifier.

So much respect for these four lads who purchased tickets for today's World Cup in Atlanta between Czechia and South Africa before the game in Prague.
