Duke recruit Joaquim Boumtje-Boumtje continues to dominate, no matter the competition. After playing in Europe for Barcelona's U18 team, Boumtje-Boumtje made Team USA's U17 FIBA World Cup roster and impressed in his debut.

Against France Saturday, Boumtje-Boumtje scored 12 points on 5-for-8 shooting to go along with five rebounds and three assists in 21 minutes. Another Duke recruit, Beckham Black, led Team USA in scoring, dropping 23 en route to a 115-84 win. Although Black, younger brother of Orlando Magic guard Anthony Black, was given a scholarship offer earlier this summer, he has yet to commit to Duke or any other school.

Team USA won in blowout fashion again Sunday, defeating Japan in a tremendously lopsided 128-66 game. Boumtje-Boumtje totaled 16 points on 7-for-8 shooting, seven rebounds, seven blocks and one steal, while Black had a double-double with 19 points, 10 assists, three rebounds and four steals.

Their next game is scheduled for Tuesday against Italy.
