Chicago Sky guard DiJonai Carrington remains sidelined as she continues recovering from ankle surgery, but she has still found ways to stay connected with fans throughout the WNBA season.
On Tuesday, Carrington shared a new series of swimsuit photos on Instagram, giving followers a glimpse of her offseason while she works toward returning to the court. The post quickly drew attention, with fans filling the comments section as anticipation continues to build for her Sky debut.

While much of the attention surrounding Carrington has focused on her recovery, her latest Instagram update reminded fans why she has become one of the WNBA's most popular personalities away from the hardwood.
Her post quickly accumulated thousands of likes as supporters reacted to the photos while wishing her well in her rehabilitation.
Sky continue waiting for Carrington's return
Chicago added Carrington in free agency hoping to bolster its backcourt with one of the league's most versatile perimeter defenders. However, ankle surgery in April delayed her debut, and the Sky have not announced when she could make her first appearance in a Chicago uniform.
The team also has not ruled her out for the remainder of the season, leaving open the possibility that she could provide a boost during the second half of the campaign.

Carrington brings proven experience
Whenever she returns, Carrington will add an accomplished veteran to Chicago's rotation. The 29-year-old enjoyed a breakout season in 2024, earning the WNBA's Most Improved Player award while also being named to the league's All-Defensive Team. Her relentless defense, energy and versatility helped establish her as one of the WNBA's premier two-way guards.
Across her WNBA career, Carrington has averaged 8.6 points, 2.1 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.2 steals per game. For now, the focus remains on her recovery. But as Tuesday's Instagram post showed, Carrington continues to keep fans engaged while counting down the days until she can finally make her long-awaited debut for the Sky.
