Training camp is a time in which teams and players find out the best and worst of themselves. Who always gets the most attention is the top draft picks, but the stories worth following are the undrafted players who rise through the chaos to carve out a role within the team.
One of those types of players is getting some shine from ESPN, as they asked a unique question related to those types of stories.

ESPN made every reporter for the 32 teams around the league name their franchise's "best training camo riser." It was a fun choice for the Vikings. ESPN's Kevin Seifert went all the way back to 1962 to find his choice for the Vikings in the form of Hall of Fame center Mick Tingelhoff.
He makes the argument for Tingelhoff, writing, "Undrafted out of Nebraska in 1962, Tingelhoff signed with the Vikings. At 237 pounds, he opened camp as a linebacker. But the Vikings needed a center, and coach Norm Van Brocklin gave him a look. Tingelhoff proved smart and quick enough to make up for his size differential at center. He went on to earn a starting job, and, as legend has it, he never missed a game or practice over the next 17 seasons. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2015."
Not many players go from undrafted to the Hall of Fame. In fact, of the 287 members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, just 22 of them went undrafted. Tingelhoff is a special story with a special career, who is getting some unique attention from ESPN in this piece.
