· The South African

After international backlash over the Airlink flyover a few days ago for the Springboks vs All Blacks game at the DHL Stadium in Cape Town, many headlines around the world chastised the pilots for their “dangerous” actions.

Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture Gayton McKenzie defended the stunt, and the airline said that it was “carefully planned and rehearsed”.
It would be remiss of local comedians not to jump onboard to have their own fun while feelings are still heightened.
We could already tell things would go downhill when we see the sailor captain caps on the heads of Mpho Pops, Thabiso Mhlongo, Shanray Van Wyk, and his co-pilot.
The skit opens with a sleeping Mhlongo, who only shows excitement at the prospect of the last minute flight plan change when he rememebers that ‘Nthabiseng is at the stadium’.
As the airline does its bit to support people like “Siya”, people like “Kolisi”, the stunt nearly ends in disaster when, distracted by a Twinkies, ‘Captain Jabulani Mcigozi’ almost crashes into the stadium, followed by the ‘Llewelyn Nommers’ close behind.
“Did you see Cheslyn?” asks Nommers’ co-pilot.
“Yerrrr, I nearly saw my g*t,” responded Nommers.
