Kewan Lacy injury update: Ole Miss RB seen icing knee in Louisville game

· Yahoo Sports

Ole Miss football running back Kewan Lacy is currently unavailable against Louisville with an apparent knee injury, as he was shown on the ESPN broadcast without his helmet while icing his knee on the sideline.

Lacy, who led the SEC with 24 rushing touchdowns last season, has 17 carries for 61 yards with a touchdown on the night, along with four receptions for 19 yards. Backup running back Makhi Frazier has mostly played in Lacy's absence.

Lacy opted to return to the Rebels after last season alongside quarterback Trinidad Chambliss, who has thrown a pair of 62-yard touchdowns to new top target Deuce Alexander in the third quarter. Chambliss threw an interception and fumbled in an uncharacteristic first half against the Cardinals.

The All-American is heavily relied on by Ole Miss' offense, and would be a huge blow if he can't return against Louisville.
