Chicago Bears sign RB D'Andre Swift to 3-year contract extension

The Chicago Bears have signed running back D'Andre Swift to a three-year, $33.75 million contract extension, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Swift was entering the final year of a three-year, $24 million contract he signed with Chicago back in 2023. Now, the Bears' top running back is under contract through 2029.

Swift led a top-three rushing attack alongside Bears teammate Kyle Monangai last season, averaging over 140 yards per game. It was also a resurgence for Swift, who had a career year with 1,087 rushing yards (his second ever 1,000-yard season) and nine touchdowns in his first season with head coach Ben Johnson in Chicago.
