The New Orleans Saints have a question mark on the offensive side of the ball in running back Alvin Kamara.

Kamara is dealing with a knee injury, but he was able to turn in a full practice on Friday after limited sessions on Wednesday and Thursday, which led to optimism for his status.
However, Kamara was ultimately given the questionable tag, which left his status for Week 1 against the Detroit Lions up in the air.
Here's what we know about Kamara's odds of suiting up.
Is Alvin Kamara playing today?
No, Alvin Kamara will not be playing in Week 1, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
"Saints RB Alvin Kamara, who is questionable with a knee injury because of an MCL sprain, is not expected to play today against the Lions, sources say. He was a full participant late in the week, but was not quite ready," Rapoport wrote.
This is at least moderately surprising after Kamara finished off the week as a full participant in practice.
Nevertheless, we'll have to wait until Week 2 for Kamara's 2026 debut.
Fantasy football impact
Considering the fact that Kamara was no longer the Saints' starting running back after the Travis Etienne signing, this doesn't have a huge impact for fantasy purposes.
With Audric Estime on injured reserve, this does open the door for Kendre Miller to dominate the snaps Etienne isn't on the field for, but that won't be enough to insert Miller into fantasy football lineups in Week 1.
