Fitzpatrick went down during Tennessee’s opening offensive possession. He walked under his own power before entering the medical tent.
The Jets later announced that Fitzpatrick is questionable to return.
Fitzpatrick’s early exit could be a significant concern for New York’s defense. The veteran safety joined the Jets during the offseason after the team acquired him from the Miami Dolphins.
