Inter have once again reaffirmed their commitment to promoting the role of sport in inclusion, raising awareness of the rights and needs of people with disabilities and helping to protect their rights and wellbeing.

As has now become customary, representatives of the Club’s Special teams visited the Inter Training Center in Appiano Gentile on Thursday. Three teams were welcomed to the Nerazzurri’s training centre: the team for people with cognitive and relational disabilities, partnered with ASD Sporting4E, which competes in the FIGC Paralympic Football Division; the blind football team developed in partnership with Real Eyes Sport; and the powerchair football team partnered with Snakes Milano.
The visit to Appiano Gentile was a particularly special occasion, with the three delegations meeting and greeting President and CEO Giuseppe Marotta, Vice President Javier Zanetti, Chief Sport Officer Dario Baccin, Club Manager Riccardo Ferri and the players. It was also an opportunity to officially present the Special teams with their new Nerazzurri training and match kits for the season ahead.
The Special teams train regularly throughout the year, representing Inter in their Nerazzurri colours in matches and competitions. And the presentation of the kits is just the start: throughout the season, the teams will take part in gatherings and a range of special initiatives, including activities alongside players from the Youth Sector and Inter Legends.
