Houston Texans star receiver Nico Collins is expected to have tests done on his hamstring injury, according to a report Sept. 16 from Aaron Wilson.
Wilson added that the severity of Collins' injury is still being determined. On the Texans' injury report, Collins was listed as limited because of the injury.

One day earlier, the Texans announced starting linebacker Henry To'oTo'o will miss the team's NFL Week 2 game against the Cincinnati Bengals because of a shoulder injury. The Texans put To'oTo'o on the reserve/injured list.
In the Texans' Week 1 loss to Buffalo, Collins led the Texans with seven receptions (on 10 targets) with 75 receiving yards and a touchdown.
A Pro Bowler each of the past two seasons, Collins is in his sixth season with the Texans. He was a third-round pick of Houston in the 2021 NFL Draft.
In 2023, Collins had a career-best 80 catches for 1,297 receiving yards with eight touchdowns. In 2024, he had 68 receptions for 1,006 yards with seven TDs in 12 games. Last season, He had 71 catches for 1,117 yards with six TDs.
Collins did not play in the Texans' 2023 game against Cincinnati.
