Raphinha’s chats with match referee Juan Martínez Munuera during Barcelona’s win over Sevilla have been revealed and show the Brazilian was asking the match official to keep an eye on the hosts.
Barcelona ran out 3-1 winners at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan, with Raphinha continuing his excellent form with a hat-trick.

Raphinha led by example but also tried to help out his team by asking the referee for some protection in footage captured by ref cam and then broadcast on DAZN.
“Try to be careful with the blocking and grabbing because they’re going to break our backs,” Raphinha told the referee.
“Yes, we’re keeping an eye on it, and in fact, we’ve seen it, and I’ve told them as well,” Martínez Munuera replied.
Raphinha then said: “Just be careful, because as soon as you call one or two fouls, they’re going to stop doing this.”
There’s also another incident when the referee warns Raphinha and Youssouf Fofana to stop tangling at a free kick: “Fofana, eh, Rapha, Rapha. Listen, both of you, he grabs and so do you. That’s not football, that’s not football, that’s called judo.”
