He is a Cy Young candidate and has recorded at least seven strikeouts in five of his last seven starts.
The Yankee’s ace has a career 2.67 ERA against the Rays and 34 strikeouts in five starts. New York needs a big-time start, and Schlitter is the man for the job.
Junior Caminero over 1.5 hits + runs + RBIs (+112 at DraftKings)

Yankees moneyline (-125 at DraftKings)
Sep 23, 2026; Bronx, New York, USA; New York Yankees designated hitter Ben Rice (22) celebrates his solo home run against the Tampa Bay Rays with teammates in the dugout during the fourth inning at Yankee Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Brad Penner-Imagn Images Credit: IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters Connect (Reuters)This is a massive game, and the Yankees have their star pitcher on the mound. I’m backing the Yankees because of how desperate New York will be.
Cam Schlitter is an absolute stud and knows he needs to pitch a gem if the Yankees want to come out on top. New York’s bats were asleep in Game 1 and hopefully won’t make any base-running blunders.
