Shams Charania: "Stephen Curry participated fully in practice today at the Warriors facility in the Bay Area, and I am told he will play in the season opener on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Warriors are lucky they avoided a serious injury here. It is believed to be a minor right ankle sprain, so it is not that right knee which experienced runner's knee, which ailed Stephen Curry throughout last season. He missed significant time last year with that injury, so it is not that right knee, it is that ankle. I am told Stephen Curry did everything today, it was a light session, but he participated in everything and he will be on track to play on Wednesday."
