NBA fans are showing no love to Anthony Davis after the Washington Wizards star appeared to have injured his hand.

The Washington Wizards continue to have a rocky start to the regular season as they have dropped to a 2-2 record following a 110-103 defeat at the hands of the Charlotte Hornets.

For Wizards fans, though, the loss wasn’t the biggest takeaway from the matchup. Instead, it was star forward Anthony Davis seemingly suffering an injury at the end of the game.

NBA fans react to Anthony Davis’ apparent hand injury

When healthy, Davis is regarded as one of the most dominant two-way players in the NBA. Unfortunately, the 33-year-old has a history of injury troubles.

As a result, many fans were skeptical of the Wizards welcoming AD to the roster. And that’s the exact reason why NBA fans showed no sympathy for the franchise when Davis seemed to have injured his hand against the Hornets.

“See you in 2027, AD!” a fan wrote. While another added, “The Wizards are about to go through it.”

“Just like clockwork. Comes out balling week 1, then he starts his cycle of injuries and missing games,” a third fan pointed out.

“Welcome to the AD experience, Wiz fans, joke’s on you haha,” a fourth fan mockingly stated. While a fifth fan wrote, “Dude is made of glass.”

In the first four games of his Wizards career, Davis averaged 22.8 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game.

However, if AD is sidelined for an extended period, Wizards fans will quickly forget this excellent start to the season.
