MM 10.5: Former Terp Diggy Coit drops 40 points in win for ADA Blois 41 in France
· Yahoo Sports
Diggy Coit – a 5-foot-11 sharpshooter who dazzled the Xfinity Center as a guard for Maryland men’s basketball last season – delivered an impressive performance overseas. The former Terp scored 40 points for ADA Blois 41, a member of France’s second league, on Saturday.

With seven 3-pointers made, Coit mirrored the play style that made him a fan favorite in College Park with just 29 minutes of playing time. However, this is far from the only time he has logged a score of points in the last calendar year.
Coit’s first of two 40-point spectacles came Nov. 19 against Mount St. Mary’s in an overtime win which saw him score 41 points. Then, on Jan. 18, the then-graduate student set an Xfinity Center record with 43 points against Penn State.
The Terps open their season without Coit on Nov. 2 against Bucknell.
